Steampunk.. Guitar? Thing?

Okay, ironically, this has -not- shown up on any of my LJ Steampunk communities (yet!) that I know of.. it's just something really cool shelleybear found. But yet.. So incredibly steamy and awesome! (And considering at one point steam comes out of it.. well.. oh yeah.)

Plus, it's an all time favorite song -- Ghost Riders (in the sky). Just watch. Trust me.

The instrument looks to be a highly modified electric guitar -- they call it a "Muffler Guitar." As to the music, it's "Ghost Riders (in the sky)." Apparently he primarily plays guitar gospel. But still this is really nifty. :)

I love that song but I have SO never seen a guitar like that. (And I've seen some funky instruments in my day...)
