Rachel and I bought the house in the last post.
Hard to believe. I mean, it's sort of that final, "Okay, I'm really an adult." moment. We bought a HOUSE.
I will now have a mortgage. For 30 years.
I just got back from World of Commodore 2004 in Toronto. 10 hour drive up, about an 8-9 hour drive home. No sleep in the middle. I tried so hard to be able to go to work today. But I got home at 1:30 this morning. I just couldn't do it. So I went back to sleep and just woke up a half-hour ago.
I had a great time at the Expo. So many people, doing stuff in a common vein and being friendly, and now I'm home alone while Rachel's at work. For some reason, that makes me lonely. It's sort of like I'm the only person on the planet at the moment.
Oh, and I have reverted back to "I hate Christmas-time" mode. Oh well, guess I'm a Scrooge for the next month or so. :/
