So, I plugged them on my last podcast, but I feel the need to plug them here as well --
The Clockwork Cabaret, The first (to my knowledge) Steampunk Radio Show, hosted by the lovely Davenport Sister, Emmet and Klaude. They have a livejournal here, and a webspace at clockworkcabaret.com -- They actually broadcast on real public radio (WOOT!) and podcast the shows as well. Now, they claim to play "Music O' the Gears," but I find that they play all kinds of stuff, from goth/techno/country/rockabilly, to even a couple of Gilbert & Sullivan Pieces -- All I can really say is that if you know me, know my music tastes, and like what I listen to or tend to like similar music, then check out this show. Trust me, you won't be disappointed.
(For example, they have joined the ranks besides myself of being one of the few shows I've ever heard that played Gogol Bordello, which is definite big points.)
There's also a new general Steampunk podcast (think The Signal or Firefly Talk for Steampunks) being hosted by The Mad Crafterix at Steampunk Spectacular -- http://steampunkspectacular.org/blog/
And apparently Abney Park's got a new album out and no one told me. Damnit. Time to sign up for their mailing list.

Date: 2008-04-17 10:51 pm (UTC)Frankly, I'm worried at this point that I'll become your biggest fan or something if I keep this up.. Or biggest cheerleader! *chuckling*
Of course, considering what I normally play on my Wednesday night show, I had to plug Phantom Frequency yesterday night too... ('Cos I borrowed the Anders Manga Radio Drop.. the place where I DJ are -huuuuuge- Anders Manga fans..)
Anyways, once again, keep up the great work.. and hopefully someday I'll have a chance to travel to the eastern USA again and attend one of those spectacular get-togethers that seem to be happening so frequently now!
