The news you've all been waiting for..

I HAVE A NEW JOB.

I got the call/offer this morning at 9:10pm (on my drive to work.)

I will be working fraud for a large financial institution.
I will be making a full $2.00 more than what I'm currently making.
I will be able to carpool with Rachel to work.
I will have much more opportunity for promotion/advancement than at my current company.

I will now officially be making more than $20k a year.

I start Nov. 13, which allows me to still have my vacation days for Halloween and Nov. 1. :) (Yay after Halloween sales!!)

Also, had a really nice weekend. Saw wooisme and stormdog and posicat at the Stronghold castle ren-faire-lite, and then spent Sunday helping move Rachel's Mimi in with Rachel's mom.

Tonight we went to Red Lobster for "Endless Shrimp" to celebrate my being hired and our 2nd wedding anniversary. (Tomorrow, 10-10). All in all, pretty good day. :)
