6 Degrees of Separation..
Oct. 4th, 2006 06:44 pmI'm always amused when things like this happen --
LJ, I'm learning, is incredibly small. Not in the sense that there are few users, but that there seems to be this strange inner circle of use. I've always been a big believer of degrees of separation and "spheres of influence" because in my community, I am sort of a universal constant. I exist is so many different spheres, that I'm often one of the ways that spheres intersect.
Well, it happened today on LJ for me.
My friend
shadesong whom I met many moons ago through a shared interest of the Urban Fantasy series created by Terri Windling about "Bordertown," and my friend
xiane whom I met through joining a mailing list geared towards gothic interests, both wished
eilonwy a happy birthday today!
As far as I know, neither knows the other (although I could be wrong) and I'm fairly certain that the connection does not exist in any way because of my involvement. However, it -is- rather intriguing and serves to amuse me to no end.
