It was one of those days, where if I'd had the time available, I'd have called in sick and stayed home in bed.

Didn't sleep well. Had a hard time staying awake driving to work this morning. Work was crazy.. not busy, just crazy. Like Thursdays usually are.

After work, on the way to the expressway, I very nearly rear-ended someone at a stoplight. Thank the gods for ABS and good driving skills/instincts! Fortunately, I managed to avoid an accident, but it just showed me that I should've stayed home. *sigh*

I'm tired.. and I have a really big craving for just snuggling up with someone tonight. I'm not lonely, I guess.. mentally, I mean.. but gods, I wish I could just curl up with someone tonight. *sigh*

I had a really good weekend last weekend though. After work on Saturday went up to Grayslake after work and met up with folks at

posicat's place. Met up with a bunch of other folks including

stormdog,

moiracoon,

tybis,

mocha_mephooki, and

samiitiger so that we could go see The Golden Compass.

I'll save the reviews for later -- Seems like it's one of those love it/hate it kind of movies.. I loved it. I want to go see it again, and I will be buying it the moment it's on DVD. Oh yes.

Afterwards, we went to an all-night restaurant for chatting and muchies.... Lots of fun, chatting, joking, and of course, Flaming Cheese! Yay Saganaki!

Sunday night was the usual night in SL DJing at Firefly's.. 'cept Aisling showed up.. she'd been MIA for the last couple of weeks, and I had been stressing out that I hadn't heard from her.. Well, I finally heard from her this week, and got to spend all Sunday night in SL with her. Happy Sabby!

Monday was typical depressing boring monday...

Now, I'm just trying to relax on a Thursday night..
