Golden Compass - Any possible outings?

Speaking of the Golden Compass.. I want to go see this. Is anyone in the IL/WI area planning any outings this weekend? I wouldn't be able to go see it Friday night for opening, but going to see it after work on Saturday would be spiffy..

If no one's got any plans, or no one wants to go see the movie or get together, that's cool too.. I can always hit up the AMC Barrington 30 or the Elgin Fox theater by myself..
But I think it'd be a really cool thing to do..

I think you just started an impromptu outing. ;)

No plans as of yet for Saturday night, but I'm wanting to see Golden Compass, as well, and I'm of the opinion it's always better seeing a movie with friends. Just let me know what's going on. :)

Either folks didn't see my post (possible) or folks aren't that fired up to see Golden Compass.. *shrug* Wonder if I should've said something on LAFF?

That depends... I know there's a fursuit-friendly outing on the 7th, which is opening night. I'm personally not going to be attending that, as I have a photography gig the next morning at work, but would definitely be up for going to see the movie on Saturday night.
