Okay, another incremental post. I took new pics last night, but it was so late I couldn't post in LJ, barely got 'em on Flickr.

So in my last post, [livejournal.com profile] kiwihunter8 took a photo and redid the eye design as well as some redlining on the lower jaw. See:

So last night, I did manage to cut down the jaw some, and I managed to cut out the first piece of the "main" color of fur, over the eye area, to help with eye visualization. I also redesigned the eyes to try and match Kiwi's drawing better. Unfortunately, trying to approximate them from the image, I didn't quite get it -- mine are not elongated (wide) enough, and I made them a little too tall / round. I'll have to adjust and do a third set. I also tried to bake the nose (see prev. post) and, well.. ended up making a replacement. *sheepish grin* I also trimmed up the jaw shape so it's not crooked anymore, and also detached it from the sides which was preventing it from having any movement.

Here's how it turned out:

Definitely getting there, I think!

Okay, so the Steampunk world has exploded within the last year or so, and Steampunk fashion is incredibly popular, as is the atmosphere and subculture. However, what if you happen to be more curvaceous than what society deems to be average? Maybe you're just larger framed, but still want to dress stylishly Steampunky? Should body size prevent you from looking your absolute steamy best?

NEVER!

Welcome to steampunk_plus, a community I decided to start to provide a place for plus-sized folks (or allies, or just people in general) who want to talk about Steampunk society and fashion, but with an emphasis on plus-sizes. Obviously, there are tons of other Steampunk communities on LJ right now, and this is not intended to compete or supplant any of them. The purpose for this community is to provide a single place for anyone wanting to find plus-sized steampunk fashions!

With that said, I've never maintained an LJ community before, and I'm new to this, so please bear with me and be patient as I get this new community started. Otherwise, welcome aboard, and let's see that wonderful curvaceous steampunk goodness I know is out there!
