Aug. 1st, 2006 08:49 pmThere's been so much I've been wanting to type about lately.. But I haven't been able to force myself to sit down at LJ and just start typing.
So I played hooky from work today.. The anticipation of our upcoming vacation to Wisconsin Dells (we leave Thursday) had made it impossible to work.
So today I went to the eye Doctor's to pick up my new shades. After a couple weeks, I gave up my original pair for lost. $80 later, I can actually be out in the sun and still manage to see.. that is, if the humidity doesn't fog my glasses first.
Seeing as my eye Doctor is right next door to Salvation Army, I stopped off for a little shopping. I picked up a pair of jeans, a pair of shorts, a really cute brown venezia skirt, a green top, a faded brown-ish top, and a black blouse with white collar and cuffs that looks straight out of Clueless. Yes, it's decidedly retro ala late 90's, but it's incredibly cute on me.
Blue tags were 50% off, and white tags were 50 cents. All total for my shopping excursion: $9.40.
My breast forms came on Friday. I was anxious about whether they were going to be sized okay, but they ended up being perfect! I want to wear them everywhere.
