evilphoenix and csixty4 came out to Rockford to see the new house and spend some time goofing off.. We went to McDonald's, and GoodWill, and to the local gaming store, Tomorrow is Yesterday. We bought some nifty stuff.. I bought the latest issue of Buffy the Magazine 'cos the poster is of the three geeks.. and then we went over to the Media Play shopping center to see if the used cd store was open. (It wasn't, and Dave and Amy left to go home.) Rachel suggested we go to Bed, Bath & Beyond and wander around.
We were in there maybe 10 minutes when my cell phone rang. It was Rachel's mom and she sounded upset and urgent.
sanjikrhys's friend Mike committed suicide yesterday.
I will be spending the rest of the night (and most likely the week) taking care of her as a good husband does. Whether you know my wife or not, please send good energy her way.
