Okay, as promised.. Op/Ed Stupidity! Part 1

Okay, I know I said I'd open the political can of whoop-ass, and it's been a while.. but I've been frazzled and stuff..  but, better late than never, right?  As I've said before, I read newspapers for my job, and that includes much stupidity.  So, without further ado, two of the most asinine op/ed letters I've ever seen! Non-Political stuff..

So.. err.. yeah.  Rant over..

What's up, you ask?

Well, I go back to school Aug. 23 -  I'm finishing my bachelor's degree in Computer Science.  First class, Intro to Assembler. 

The wedding invitations have come;  It's essentially official now;  It feels so definite, it's kind of wierd..  October 10th is D-Day. Pat and Kallie (my adopted
SCA parents) have begun the wedding garb;  Rachel's is a burgundy silk dress in 15th c.  Portuguese style, I'm getting a navy blue kilt with grey wool Prince

We're going to Wizard World Chicago this weekend.  I get to meet Kevin Smith (again) and Jason Mewes and Joss Whedon and Amber Benson!

I just got back from playing the Michigan 3-man LaserQuest tournament.  I'm tired, I'm sore, but damn did I have fun!  I'd really missed what made LQ fun again,
and I got to go to Detroit again!  (MUTA!!  You rock, brother!) 

I also picked up Hellboy!  Wooot!

So, yeah..  geekiness abounds..
